My name is Artashes Andreasyan. I am a director, music producer and experimenter whose creative career has taken an unusual route — from a childhood split between Yerevan (Armenia) and Kostanay (Kazakhstan) to composing soundtracks for high-budget films and producing my own short films made with artificial intelligence. From very early on, music was my language of creation, and that passion led me into cinema, where I found full realisation.
The time of new AI-Sincerity
Over the years I took part in dozens of film projects: I composed music for popular films, produced projects together with my brothers, and constantly searched for new forms of self-expression. Today, drawing on accumulated experience and unafraid of innovation, I continue to push the boundaries of what is possible — from sound-track production to directing experimental films created by neural networks. My philosophy is simple: never stop at what has been achieved, keep learning new things and preserve creative freedom.

AI Projects
In recent years I have been actively mastering new technologies in art. Always interesting is going beyond the familiar, and I became one of the pioneers in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to film-making. In 2024-2025 I released several experimental short films completely created with neural networks — from generating visual images and animation to composing music. These works became for me a creative challenge and thrilling adventure.
I publish my mini-films on social-media pages and even coined a playful name for them — I call them “Ta-shometrazhki” (from my nickname “Tash” and the Russian word for short-films). In the profile description I honestly inform viewers that everything they will see in these videos is a completely new experiment for the film industry. Thanks to these projects I learn and try myself in the role of a director-animator, where instead of a traditional film crew there are modern neural networks and computer algorithms.
This is a very different experience of storytelling and visual creation, which inspires me enormously.
My AI experiments have already resonated on the international stage. The short films made with artificial intelligence were shown at several foreign festivals. One reached the specialised festival in Venice “BAIFF – Burano Artificial Intelligence Film Festival”, another became a finalist in Los Angeles “Neu Wave AI Film Festival”, and a third in Cannes, dedicated to new technologies in cinema. For me, as an author, this is a huge honour and confirmation that the move in the direction of technologies is the right step.
A combination of experience and innovation
Looking back on my path, I see how much I have been through — from a provincial TV channel to big cinema premieres. For me versatility has always been important — being simultaneously a creator-innovator, film-producer and explorer of new art forms. Today I continue to work on music for films, produce new projects and master unexplored domains such as AI-creativity. I am convinced: the combination of experience and innovation allows one to create truly original things. For me it is also a personal principle — to keep learning and trying something new, while remaining true to myself and my team.
